John Deere iSteer
With the John Deere iSteer, John Deere further expands its range of intelligent solutions. John Deere makes the active control of pulled or mounted implements possible and also the controlling of varioplowing with RTK accuracy (+ / - 2.5 cm).
Implements such as hillers, planters and harvesters will be equipped with a Starfire iTC receiver, a control unit of SBG Precision Farming, hydraulic valves, sensors and - if not available, a movable horizontal hydraulic cylinder. With the automatic sideway movement of the cylinder, the implement will be kept exactly in the right direction while the tractor is manually controlled.
John Deere iSteer is also available for vario-plows, if the plow width is hydraulically adjustable. The driver places the tractor manually for the ploughed furrow, and the iSteer adjusts the width of the plow and constantly monitors and corrects it when a deviation from the optimal track is shown.
